Classes are open to ages 15 and up , held in her inspiring studio at TheArtWorks, 200 Willard Street, Wilmington, NC. At this time, she only teaches up to 2 students at a time, and cannot accommodate a larger class in her studio. Make sure to pre-pay for your classes in advance in order to reserve your spot. Price: Individual classes are just $70, the 4-Part Series is $245 Terry can accommodate up to two students per class ($70 per person for individual classes or $245 for courses). Terry was so patient with them and very encouraging! She was very thorough in explaining how to do what we were doing and why. Highly recommend! We really enjoyed our Intro to Watercolors class with Terry! It was me, my daughter and two granddaughters. She is a wonderful teacher and incredibly talented artist. Terry made the evening so much fun for all of us. I highly recommend her classes. In fact, we plan to sign up for advanced classes over the summer. I booked a watercolor class with Terry for my partner's birthday. It was so much more fun than I imagined! I am not artsy (but my partner is) so I was nervous I wouldn't be good at it. But Terry is such a good teacher that even I made art! She is a great mix of a kindergarten art teacher (for people like me) and a true professional artist (for people like my partner). We booked one session to start and see whether we would like it or be good at it and when we walked out we both said let's do more sessions! She is the best. So fun and learned legitimate art techniques to do more in our free time. SO worth it! Your will not regret booking a session with her!!!

ABOUT TERRY GANEY BIOGRAPHY Terry Ganey, a self-taught artist from WIlmington, NC, works in multiple mediums because sometimes just one medium doesn't help her express what she is seeing in her head. Her primary focus is art that is relevant to the Carolinas, including many city and seascapes. She started out working in just acrylics, but since becoming an active member of the Wilmington Chapter of the Urban Sketchers, she has fallen in love with the combination of watercolors and inks. She loves that expressive, illustrative style she can accomplish with lines and washes. Besides working in that classic combo (she loves the challenge of architecture), she loves to paint dramatic seascapes in acrylics and oils. Terry is a member of the Art League of Leland, The Watercolor Society Of NC, and the National Watercolor Society. I love the challenge of finding the perfect harmony between the fluid notes of watercolors and the lyrical linework of ink. I love it when my artwork sings of energetic city scenes, stormy seas, or serene landscapes. When my artwork can make someone actually feel the energy and emotion in my creative song, that’s when my heart is happy.
